We are excited to highlight one of our own: local author M.S.Q., who is releasing Book 1 of her powerful new trilogy, The Survivor’s Path. This series is already gaining attention for its honesty, emotional depth, and unflinching approach to real life trauma and survival.

About the Trilogy: The Survivor’s Path

The Survivor’s Path tears into the reality of abuse without softening the edges. It follows the journey of a young woman starving for purpose who steps into a life that consumes her emotionally, mentally, and financially.

The trilogy traces:

• How charm becomes control

• How control becomes violence

• How violence becomes survival
  

It pulls readers into the night she was nearly killed, the months she hid away, and the complicated aftermath that followed.

But the story doesn’t end in darkness. This series ultimately becomes a powerful tale of rebirth, healing, and rediscovery. It’s a journey from captivity to clarity, from devastation to strength, and eventually toward a love that doesn’t hurt.

Book 1: The Innocence

The first installment, The Innocence, introduces us to Susie, a young woman lost and searching for meaning when she meets Dylan. Believing she can help him, and help herself, she steps into his unstable world.

What begins with kindness and charm slowly morphs into isolation, manipulation, and quiet captivity. He gives her a place to live, dresses the cage in gifts, and controls her life piece by piece.

The Innocence captures the subtle unraveling of a young woman’s freedom as she mistakes control for affection and the first flickers of strength that begin her journey toward survival. And once you finish Book 1, you’ll be dying to know what comes next.
