Today I had the absolute joy of attending a sea glass workshop hosted by WaterGlass Collab, a talented local mother–daughter duo who specialize in watercolor and stained glass. They’re incredible artists, but what I love most is how they open their creative world to others through fun, relaxed workshops.
This one was held right here in Naples at Engine 14 Brewery, and I have to say,… how have I lived in Naples this long and never been there?! It’s honestly one of the coolest places I’ve ever stepped into. Naples is filled with so many hidden gems, and I’m constantly reminded how blessed I am to live here.
But—back to the workshop!
When we arrived, we were greeted by the sweetest lady, and right away we got to choose whether we wanted to create on ornaments or on canvas for our sea glass art. One table was filled with beautiful premade examples to inspire us, and the next table was packed with creative goodies: sea glass pieces, tiny pine cones, sticks, paints, markers—you name it. It felt like stepping into a little world of possibilities.
The best part? She truly let us create however we wanted. No rules, no pressure, just pure creativity.
I ended up making three ornaments and even bought a fourth so I can make a Harry Potter-themed set. My sister went with a canvas and created a gorgeous sea glass tree.
The workshop was not only super fun and beginner-friendly, but also very affordable. Honestly, it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon if you want to relax, make something beautiful, and support local artists.
Keep an eye on WaterGlass Collab’s Facebook page for future events—they do amazing things. I’ll also share updates here on Naples GrapeVine Vibes so you don’t miss out. :)
